Information we collect

If you write to us, we receive what you choose to send — typically your name, your company, your email address, and the content of your message.

Our hosting provider records standard server and request data for every visit, such as the pages requested, approximate region, browser and device type, and referring page. We use aggregate, cookieless analytics that does not build a profile of you across other websites.

How we use it

To answer you, to keep a record of business correspondence, to operate and secure the site, and to understand in aggregate which pages are read.

• We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.
• We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
• We do not sell it, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers required to run the site and receive mail, and only to the extent they need it to perform that function:

• Hosting and content delivery — serves the site and keeps request logs.
• Analytics — cookieless, aggregate page metrics.
• Email — receives and stores correspondence sent to our group addresses.
• Form hosting — if you submit a contact form, the form provider processes the submission and routes it to our inbox.

Cookies and local storage

We set no advertising or tracking cookies. If you change the light or dark appearance, that preference is stored locally in your own browser and is never transmitted to us. Details are in our cookie notice.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We limit who can access correspondence to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Retention

We keep business correspondence for as long as we have a business reason to, and as long as applicable record-keeping obligations require. Aggregate analytics are retained without identifying you.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it. We will not treat you differently for asking. California residents have additional rights, set out in our California privacy notice.

Children

This site is directed to businesses and professionals, not to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this notice changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
